CAPE Career Track Scholarships Available to CSULA & CSUN Students

To highlight the professional opportunities available for students and graduates available through Los Angeles County, CAPE is sponsoring a $2,500 scholarship for engineering students at Cal State University Los Angeles and a $2,500 scholarship for students enrolled in CSUN's Urban Studies and Planning program.

For CSUN students, applicants for the scholarship must submit the following:
a) A cover letter expressing your interest in applying for the CAPE Scholarship and allowing department faculty to review your academic record and GPA. 
b) An up-to-date resume. 
c) An essay of at least 500 words explaining your career goals. Specifically, your essay should address why want to pursue a career in urban or regional planning, urban studies, or a closely related field (e.g., appraiser or community development). You should also identify your short and long-term career aspirations. Finally, you should also discuss any pertinent experiences you have as a volunteer, intern, or employee.
