CAPE representatives participate with other County union representatives as part of the Coalition of County Unions – CCU – to negotiate and enforce a fringe benefits contract for all County workers represented by a CCU member union.

 

 

 Terms of Fringe Benefit Contract Extension:

— Fringe Contract extended an additional year (through September 30, 2013)

Horizons Contribution Changes:

7/1/2012 Restore full Fund cap and county match up to 4% until Fund cap is met.

  • County and CCU will meet to explore options on retiree healthcare reforms.
  • All other fringe benefits including pensions protected through September 30, 2013.*
    *Does not apply to changes that may occur due to changes in state law.

Choices Contribution Increase:

1/1/2012 County contribution increased 7.2% to help cover rising health care costs for our members (per CCU agreement negotiated in 2010)

1/1/2013 County contribution increases an additional 7.2% to help cover rising health care premiums for members
